I have to confess,

I am a beach girl living in a "dry" town.

I love the beach, I mean who doesn't....

But I would live at the beach in a heart beat.

I would live in a shack, if I could live at the beach!

I would live in a tent, if I could live at the beach!  

I would live in a hut, if I could live at the beach!

I would live...... Ok, Ok you get the idea. 

But seriously look at these photos and tell me you wouldn't do the same.....

Oh yah, I forgot, I would definitely live in a VW van on the beach!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

I am not a huge fan of Valentines day.  

I am a big believer that you should show the people you love that you love them every day.  

My husband and I never really celebrate Valentine's Day, but I  know he loves me because he tells me every day!

I hope that your loved ones tell you they love you every day and vice versa!

Details, details, details!

Rooms that have details in them are a favorite of mine.

They draw the eye around the entire room and make it more interesting.

The more details there are the more interesting it becomes.

I am a nonconventional decorator........ what I mean is I like things in my home that you do not normally see in homes.  I have architectural salvaged items, junk, and many things that are not being used for their original purpose.

This is the way I like my home to look and feel, different.  I hope you enjoy some of the "details" of my home.
